 | My goal and that of the Eddington School staff is to provide a safe, comfortable learning environment that promotes an atmosphere of trust, responsibility, respect, and tolerance among all students. The learning environment at a school is one of the biggest keys to learning. I see our students walk through the front door of the Eddington School excited to learn and free of fear and intimidation. Our wish is for all the students in Eddington and Clifton to have a positive educational experience. We appreciate all the support we receive from parents and community members as we strive to achieve our common goals. Our preschool program begins the task of identifying and meeting the needs of our students at a very early level. Educating the children is a true partnership.
It is very important that we maintain a two-way communication in order for our children to be successful. Contact the teacher if you have any questions or concerns regarding your child or the school program. Visit our school and become an active member of the school community.
The parent/student handbook has been designed to provide you with information about the school and to acquaint you with rules, regulations, policies, and procedures at the Eddington School. Take time to read through it with your child. If you have any questions and would like more detailed information regarding rules, regulations, policies, or procedures please feel free to call me.
I truly look forward to working with all of you as we provide the educational program for your children. My door is open or I am just a phone call away. I can’t wait to tell everyone about the wonderful things that we are accomplishing at the Eddington School. Together we can make great things happen?!
Sincerely,
Don Spencer
“ In the final analysis, it is not what you do for your children but what you have taught them to do for themselves that will make them successful human beings.” Ann Landers

| Holden Principal's Message | |
 | Welcome to the 2008-09 school year at Holden Elementary School. I am looking forward to welcoming students and parents for an exciting and fun year of learning and growth. Our entire school staff is dedicated to providing the best school experience possible for the children. Our goal is to provide a safe, nurturing, and fun learning environment that promotes a sense of community and belonging.
Educating our students requires an active partnership between home and school. Cooperation and open communication among stakeholders contributes to student success. Consistent attendance, arriving at school on time, and a positive “can do” attitude are key factors that enhance academic achievement. Ongoing communication with your child’s teacher and participation at parent-teacher conferences are so important.
I look forward to working collaboratively with students, parents, teachers and support staff, and community members to make the Holden School educational program a rich and rewarding experience for all. Should you have any questions, please feel free to get in touch with me. I enjoy sharing what is happening at Holden School with parents and community partners. I am proud of our school and district. Working together in a positive way will truly “make a difference” for the precious and talented children.
All the Best,
David Anderson
